Australian born Artist/photographer Paul Whitton's artwork is a combination of scenes taken from a
fortunate life traveling in his career as an entertainer and performing artist.
Paul has worked as a professional stuntman both in live shows and in movies, including venues such as Warner Brothers Movie World, and Universal Studios
in Japan, were he currently lives and works. Paul has also worked as a professional dancer, having performed on many famous stages and cruise ships including the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2).
Paul's career as a painter began unexpectedly at the age of 22, where after a few short lessons from an artist friend, who Painted his portrait as a surprise
gift, impressed him so much that he pursued the quest to one day be that good! |
His skill as a painter except for those few initial lessons is completely self taught, and his ability crosses many mediums, including graphite, color pencil, acrylic, oil, clay, wood, steel and just
about anything he can get his hands on! He credits his level of ability not to natural talent but simply to being passionate about something and possessing a love of being creative with his hands, this combination and many years of trial and error led to what you see on the following pages.
As a painter Paul is inspired by nature and takes in the surrounding environment with a childlike view point, absorbing the smaller details we often miss in our busy lives, and with that Paul creates artworks with which he hopes will inspire you too.
Pauls' art is admired and collected by many and carries with it a colorful disposition to brighten your home, office or hotel rooms.
